Night Customer Service Representative





POSITION OVERVIEW
Under general supervision of the General Manager and the Night Shift Manager within the Company, the Night Customer Service Specialist will be responsible for accurately taking and entering customer orders and ensuring timely and efficient processing of pick tickets for Order Selectors. They will also be responsible for identifying possible areas of concern and contacting the appropriate personnel. They will provide feedback to management regarding customer purchasing patterns and trends and have the ability to recognize and calm a dissatisfied customer in a professional manner. They are able to multitask in a fast paced environment and support the night shift in an administrative capacity as needed.

Night Customer Service Specialist will maintain professional relations with all Customers, Night Shift Manager, Operations Manager, Sales Team,, Capitol City Produce Staff, peers and vendors.


REQUIREMENTS

Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent.
Must be able to work afternoon and night time shifts.
One (1) to three (3) years Customer Service experience required.
Excellent Customer Service skills (professional, friendly, courteous and helpful).
Excellent problem solving skills; excellent analytical and thinking skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Knowledge of Bar Code Technology and Electronic Data Interchange a plus.
Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing and knowledge of weights and measures.
Able to speak clearly and professionally.
Proficient in 10 key data entry.
Proficient with Google Suite or similar program.
Must be able to work some weekends and overtime.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In a professional manner, accurately take and key in customers’ orders.
Check the night call list to identify any customers who have not placed an order. Follow up with any customers who did not place an order to ensure an order is placed.
Notify customers and sales person of any resolution for the daily out sheet.
Print labels and sort
Distribute pre-printed pick tickets to Order Selectors
Ability to multi-task and establish priorities.
Ability to maintain flexible attitude and approach towards assignments and successfully operate under ambiguous guidelines.
Ability to operate telephone, photocopier, fax machines, and PC workstation.
Ability to maintain organization in a changing environment.
Interact in a positive manner with entire warehouse team and promote team building
